so okay. desperate housewives made a really nasty comment on Filipino health workers with that actress' line. very stupid, just so stupid. for sure the writer doesnt have any clue about how top-notch Filipino medical practitioners are. Hello? Your people prefer our services because we speak your language better than any nationality. that's only a bonus. i dont have to brag anymore about how many of your people crave for Filipino TLC. all because its a fact already.

yes, we're sensitive. so watch over the lines you put into your scripts. your government has been mingling with ours since time immemorial and we just tolerate it. (or maybe not us the masses, but the crocodile politicians in office) but that moronic remark?! no. you're messing with the wrong people.

so make Teri's character pay for that inflammatory remark she blurted! now na!

natapos din sa wakas. patho lab is officially over. (almost over pala) third patho lal exam's done and i had to do an impersonation of good old doc amie. of course, docs m, rovira, meme and others were not spared! everything for plus points!!! wahaha.. nice-nice-nice.. :)

it's just so ironic how easily we tell our love-wrecked friends:

"kalimutan mu na yan. wala ka namang mapapala sa taong yan. wag ka nang umasa.."

when we could not even confront ourselves when we find ourselves in that same situation. (gets?)

it is during this time that we're suddenly hit by the fact that sometimes, the heart could easily trample the mighty head and we, the willing victims, graciously allow it to make our lives shitty.

but still. better have a shitty life than an empty one. right? 

i wish i were a governor. an influential or famous one at that. so, 500 thousand pesos in a brown paper bag could end up at my doorstep with a note saying that is for me. i can do anything with it. but it'll be much okay if i use it for my "barangay projects". being the crocodile politician i would have become, i'd probably have it spent on a weekend getaway in palawan.

have you heard the latest brouhaha on GMA lately? about her alleged generosity on many governors, congressmen and etc (which by the way amounted to 120 million pesos, how generous..) ? one word: desperate. i heard that was for getting the government officials on her side if ever that ill-fated impeachment complaint would push through the justice committee of the lower house.

the nbn deal isn't entirely over yet and here is the lilliputian occupant of the malacañang with another shenanigan. does she intend to divert our attention and leave the nbn deal alone? hmm.. cheap ha.

in other news..

my acad life has gone better i think. i got exempted in immunology, zotc 115, and pharmacology. but, i should take the final exams in microbiology, parasitology and pathology. pathology finals exam was over yesterday. it  didn't get through without me being harangued by doc molina aka ellis gray. she is a major scare. really.

in other other news.

whew. no matter how hard you try to tell yourself that things are what they are and that i should accept reality's facts, i found it hard to digest what i see and hear. it's so fucking hard to act so naturally when it feels like the distance seems to turn your innards upside down. and its so fucking fucking fucking hard to pretend to go blind over the things that scream right to your face. its equally fucking fucking fucking hard not to hear things almost everyone has been talking about. sometimes i just get so tired. its so tiring playing the nonchalant one. i get hurt. so fucking hurt every time.  i am so bruised already. my bleeding insides can't take any lashings anymore.

i need a break.
